  1. Send the First Email at 10 AM: This could be a product highlight, product tip, blog article, special sale, content piece, or any other kind of email an eCommerce brand would typically send.

  2. Resend to Unopens at 7:30 PM: Later in the day, resend the same email to all the recipients who didn't open the first one. Just make sure to change the subject line.

To resend, simply make a new “Segment” with all the people that did not open Campaign XYZ. Then send the exact same email to the new segment and only change the subject line.

The later you wait in the day to create the new segment of unopeners the better.

We usually wait until 7pm EST to make the new segment if we are resending at 730pm Recipient Time Zone.

PRO TIP: Always send your campaigns in “Recipient's TimeZone” not EST or a standard timezone.
